The all-new Skoda Scala will go on sale in May, priced from £16,595.
It will be offered with 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI petrol engines, plus a 1.6-litre TDI diesel.
The diesel is the most efficient, achieving up to 57mpg and returning 108g/km of CO2. Both petrols emit 113g/km.
Specification levels are high across the two launch trims (SE and SE L), with lane assist, autonomous emergency braking and LED headlamps featuring on all models.
First deliveries are expected in the Summer.
