FCA Fleet Services UK's contract hire business has been taken over by Leasys S.p.A, the contract hire and mobility company of FCA Bank (the joint venture of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Crédit Agricole).

FCA Fleet Services UK – which now becomes Leasys UK - last year celebrated its 20th anniversary and was the fastest growing automotive leasing company in the United Kingdom, according to the FN50.

The company has seen rapid growth in the past two years, thanks to demand from the SME market as well as the growth in personal contract hire solutions.

It has recently achieved a fleet size of more than 9,000 vehicles.

To guide Leasys in its UK HQ office, Roberto Bellavia has been appointed head of Leasys UK by Alex Hughes, managing director of FCA Bank Group UK.

Bellavia brings with him several years of experience in a leading contract hire company and in the manufacturing industry at international level.

Hughes said: “The launch marks a further step change in the business, broadening its appeal across the UK fleet market, from Pan-European corporate fleets, to serving the FCA dealer network and supporting businesses across the UK to find the right leasing solution.”

Leasys was launched in September 2001 and currently manages a fleet of more than 150,000 vehicles.

This consists of cars and commercial vehicles featuring all makes, including many Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands.
