Cover Logistics Manager needed in Faversham

Job Description: We are seeking a Cover Logistics Manager to oversee operations at our site in Faversham from 25/04/2024 to 09/05/2024. The successful candidate will manage traffic marshalls responsible for directing delivery vehicles to and from the solar park. A valid SMSTS ticket, CSCS card (Green accepted), and first aid certificate are required for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate traffic marshalls to ensure efficient flow of delivery vehicles to and from the solar park
* Oversee the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Monitor traffic movements on site and implement measures to mitigate congestion and ensure safe operations
* Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to provide regular updates on logistics operations
* Address any issues or concerns related to logistics or traffic management promptly and effectively
Requirements:
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) ticket
* CSCS card (Green accepted)
* Valid first aid certificate
* Previous experience in logistics management, preferably in a construction or similar industry
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
* Flexibility to work on Saturdays at a flat rate
