Falcon Green are working alongside one of Europe’s largest contractors that is focused on delivering complex engineering projects in Europe, to recruit a Logistics Manager who is proactive and keen to progress on a large scale data centre project.
Ideally, candidates will have worked high profile projects with values in excess of £100m+. This is a complex scheme, logistics will be difficult and the successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises. With the order book full for several years, there is excellent scope for a credible Construction Manager to play a pivotal role in helping the growth and expansion of this Business Unit for the coming years.
Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
* Overseeing direct and subcontract labour, resources, and materials
* Ensuring a pro-active approach to Health & Safety, ensuring project follows company procedures and legal legislation.
* Know how to use Data scope management system.
* Comfortable with sustainability
* Accepting collections and deliveries to site
* Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of logistics team including on site drivers and delivery drivers.
* Maintaining a positive relationship with customers, maintaining a professional standard service to ensure smooth running of the project.
* Manage aspects such as access and egress records through our biometric turnstile system, site labour levels in agreement with the contractor, material deliveries, site tidiness Health and Safety awareness and compliance.
Logistics Manager Requirements:
* Previous experience in managing a significant logistics package is essential.
* Data centre experience desirable
* Strong organisational skills
* Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft essential
* Good communication skills
* Flexible to travel.
