We are looking for a Planning and Logistics Manager (Performance Manager) to be responsible for leading service delivery and improvements to meet business objectives, including quality, productivity, financial return and performance, of an effective planning, logistics and supply chain support service for CHP Operational teams, external contractors and customers. They will also deliver a customer-centric service, collaborating effectively across all customer-facing parts of the CHP organisation to drive brilliant – and constantly improving - customer outcomes.
What you'll be doing

Accountable for all planning, logistics, performance management and supply chain services.
*
Provide effective line management and strategic direction to the Planning and Logistics team, acting as a proactive people manager to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver excellent customer focused services, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction.
*
Responsible for reporting on all operational performance data, scheduling and financial information to achieve corporate objectives, identifying trends and making recommendations to support business and budget decisions, drive VfM and increase opportunities for continuous improvement.
*
Take ownership of the development and management of all existing and new IT systems used within the team, including DRS, online repairs and work scheduling, liaising with the Digital and Transformation team to automate and continuously improve systems to ensure these and the customer portal are working optimally.
*
Engage and work brilliantly with other managers and peers across CHP to proactively plan and reactively mitigate delivery risks and to find new and creative ways of constantly improving the end-to-end service delivered to CHP customers.

Maintain and evidence an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of technical, statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements, standards and best practice in relation to delivery of services to ensure that work is undertaken in accordance with regulations.

Strong organisational skills in planning and organising diverse array of tasks and work effectively to deadlines.

Excellent computer literacy skills, including data analysis and reporting.

Understanding of DRS systems and work scheduling.

Experience of managing a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers and third parties.
