Time to enter the industry ‘Oscars’

THIS week, we launch the search for the finest managers in fleet.

Fleet News and sister website FleetNewsNet are inviting readers to enter the prestigious Fleet News Awards.

Winners will be announced at the Fleet News Awards, the annual industry ‘Oscars’, on March 16, 2005, during a gala dinner in London, where fleet managers are given the recognition they deserve for the expertise and hard work invested in keeping British business moving.

This year, we’re also asking supplier companies, including manufacturers, leasing and daily rental firms, fast-fit operators and other companies to nominate fleet manager customers, as they are often witness to industry-leading examples of best practice.

Shortlisted fleet decision-makers are invited for a discussion with a small judging panel to help decide the winner and highly-commended positions.

Last year, Fleet News received a record number of entries and expressions of interest so far suggest that the 2005 postbag will be bigger than ever.

The deadline for entries this year is December 10.
