The latest appointments in the fleet industry.
SMART repairer Dent Wizard has made a number of management changes. Shaun Harris has been appointed national sales manager responsible for auctions and rentals, Steve Faulkner is national operations manager and Phil Newstead is national sales manager for dealers and fleets. Harris was previously national accounts director with Mechanical Breakdown and General Insurance and business development manager with Green Flag.
Faulkner joins from Hylton Motor Group, where he was group marketing manager, and Newstead brings several years' industry experience, including roles at Sixt Kenning and Goodyear. MAZDA has appointed Steve Jelliss as customer relationship marketing manager. Jelliss has several years' industry experience. He began his career with Ford and before joining Mazda, worked with marketing services group iSKY.
He will be responsible for all e-marketing, including Mazda's website, direct mail, Mazda's customer magazine and all customer communications.
Jackie Woolley has been promoted to quality control manager at ABS Accident Solutions' Cheshire branch. She will be responsible for developing and maintaining company procedures, implementing ISO accreditation and introducing training.
Woolley joined ABS as call centre manager from roofing contractor Haironville TAC, where she was customer services manager. She has also held similar positions at Boddington Pub Company and Greenalls Pubs and Restaurants.
MOTOR claims group Town & Country Assistance has appointed Tim Rankin as its new managing director. Rankin, formerly head of motor services at Churchill Insurance's claims services group, has 15 years' industry experience.
He spent five years working at Ford in sales and marketing and then as operations manager and business development director at Dial Contracts. He will be responsible for all Town & Country's motor claims management activities.
Town & Country has also appointed Ian Arundal as customer services director and James Dolden as UK insurance training manager. STEVE Johnson has been appointed to Drive&Survive's board as marketing director. Johnson has been with the driver-training provider for eight years and will be responsible for the overall marketing remit and also for the company's event division.
Prior to his appointment, Johnson was responsible for the group's publicity and communications. Previously, he worked as account director at public relations firm Gordon Bruce.
