The auction company says the top end of the market sector is enjoying strong and sustained demand.
Its most recent 'top car' sale took place at BCA Blackbushe and attracted hundreds of buyers from all over the UK.
Graham Smith, general manager at BCA Blackbushe, said: 'With continuing low interest rates and a stable economy, the crème de la crème of the automobile world looks relatively affordable and this is helping to sustain interest and demand.
The used buyer looks for a well-specified car in a good colour and the best examples are making strong money.'
Smith added: 'It is worth remembering that top car sales attract not just motor trade buyers, but also a heavy non-trade contingent. These are often professional people looking for a prestige car and they can push the bidding to exceptional levels.'
