RENAULT has launched a new van rental programme and is planning to have 50 branches offering rental vehicles by 2006.

The new service, called Renault Rent, will be rolled out across the Renault dealer network and is already up and running in Croydon, Wolverhamp-ton and Oldham.

Jonathan Darke, manager, UK Rental at Renault UK, said: 'The UK's van rental market has taken off in a big way and we believe we are ideally positioned to respond to this rising demand.

'We plan to have 10 UK dealers operating Renault Rent by the end of this year with a further 40 centres rolling out across the network over the next two years.'
