While the front wheel-drive version is available at 2.8-3.5-tonnes gross vehicle weight, the new model is available only at the top weight and features double rear wheels and a choice of 3.0-litre diesel powerplants offering either 120bhp or 160bhp. Torque is either 199lb-ft at 1,300rpm or 258lb-ft at 1,500rpm. Single cab, double cab and panel van versions will be available. The model shares its basic specifications with the front- wheel-drive version but has been designed specifically for tradespeople, construction companies, industry and local authorities. Standard specification includes driver airbag, engine immobiliser and ABS brakes, while an anti-skid regulation system will be an option. The lower-powered model features a five-speed gearbox while the higher-powered version gets an extra cog. Service intervals are 24,000 miles.
