A NEW company has been created to provide fleets with car value forecasting data.

Henley Autodata will provide an online service to companies in the contract hire, leasing, rental, manufacturing and fleet sectors.

Chairman David Henley said: 'Our industry relies on good, reliable and credible valuation data. We all need the best possible intelligence to minimise our risk. And I know our future value predictions are going to become key to all in the contract hire, rental, fleet and manufacturing sectors.

'As with all the best plans, Henley Autodata began with a blank piece of paper. I then assembled a team of people who between them have vast experience of the market and of creating future residual values.'

Those involved are former CAP Motor Research publishing director Martin Keighley, former CAP managing director Rob Barrowman, Henley Systems sales director Eric Cross and vehicle finance expert John Skeldon.
