JAGUAR has taken the wraps off its new 2008 model year XJ flagship saloon.

Unveiled at this week’s Geneva motor show, the new model comes with revised front-end styling, including a new bumper and grille, new badge, a rear spoiler and side intake gills as first seen on the XK sports car.

Inside are a number of specification upgrades, plus upgraded Bluetooth connectivity.

Available in Executive, Sovereign, Sport Premium and XJR guises, the range comes with a choice of 2.7-litre V6 diesel or 3.0-litre V6 or 4.2-litre V8 petrol engines.

Prices start at £43,040 and across the board there is a £1,500 price rise.
