On November 6, the FN50 Conference – the essential one-day event for the industry – takes place in London.
In the evening, the dinner will see the unveiling of the annual FN50 guide to Britain’s largest leasing companies according to their funded fleet size.
The conference links into the dinner by recognising the central role and influence of the leasing industry in the fleet market.
Leading industry figures in companies supplying end-user fleets have provided their views to help create the content for the conference, which will be focused on the growing green fleet sector, customer service and how to handle the changing fleet market.
Fleet Van
A major new conference focused solely on van fleet operators will take place on November 22 at the Concept Centre, Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire.
The Fleet Van Conference is targeted at van fleets of all sizes, ranging from just a few commercial vehicles to hundreds, with sessions covering vehicle safety, driver training, legal issues in van fleet management, best practice, wholelife costs, funding, fuel economy and emissions, technology choices, loading issues and how to handle driver fines and penalties.
Speakers include Mike Neale, senior crash safety research engineer at TRL, Claire Shrewsbury, programme manager for SAFED for Vans, legal expert David Faithful, Lawrie Alford of the Freight Transport Association, CAP, and Edmund King, executive director of the RAC Foundation.
