Daniel Jenkins, implant manager, Thrifty and Leasedrive Velo
How was your first day in your new job?
It was very exciting as I was looking forward to the challenge of managing the rental process for Thrifty.
How does your new position differ from your last role with National Car Rental?
Being an implant manager gives you ownership and it was very important to set high standards from the very beginning.
Previously, I travelled between different customers so you don’t get that same level of responsibility.
What is the biggest challenge that you’ve faced so far?
Proving that we’re better than all the rest.
And what has been your biggest achievement?
We were named supplier of the month in the first month I was here.
That’s what you call service.
What are you working on at the moment?
We are currently working on some environmental initiatives.
What item could you not live without?
My mobile phone – surely that must be the same with most people.
