SEAT will launch a rival to Ford’s Mondeo and Vauxhall’s Insignia in the first half of next year.

Called the Exeo, the car will carry the new SEAT face seen on the new Ibiza range, and promises driver-focused dynamics and sportiness with a renewed focus on quality.

No more details have been released, but expect to catch an early glimpse of the car before the end of this year.

The name derives from the latin exire, which means ‘to go beyond’.
