Citroën UK achieved a record result in a special live online closed sale at BCA Measham on 8th April. The manufacturer offered and sold 409 cars and commercial vehicles for a 100% sell out success. The sale generated a turnover of £3.26 million, equivalent to 102.3% of CAP Clean across the board. With 41 Citroën Approved dealers competing in the auction hall and via live online for the vehicles. A total of 54 vehicles were sold online, equivalent to 13% of the sale entry.

Michael Brown head of remarketing for Citroën UK commented "This was the biggest single sale volume ever achieved by Citroën and BCA. The strong attendance and the confident bidding throughout the sale underlines the desirability of the Citroën range and demonstrates the commitment of our dealer network towards used cars. To sell over 400 vehicles in one sale on one day is exceptional, particularly during a week when demand seemed a little softer."

There was sustained demand for C1, with 64 models sold for an average of 102% of CAP Clean, while C3 averaged 104% of CAP. Citroën C4 averaged 104% of CAP Clean, with C4 Picasso averaging 100% of CAP. Fifteen examples of the C-Crosser were offered and sold for an average in excess of 106% of CAP.

Citroën's commercial vehicles performed well, with Nemo realising more than 110% of CAP, Berlingo averaging 108.6% and Relay achieving up to 106% of CAP.
