Ctrack has expanded its Mobi2 fleet management, driver feedback and business/private mileage app. It now allows employees to access driving tools and view personal driver behaviour feedback.

The latest version of the app will have a driver setting to create a support tool and an effective means of communicating feedback to staff working remotely.

Drivers will now be able to view a detailed analysis of their driving style and performance using an app on their smartphone.

Ctrack Mobi2 was originally launched to provide fleet managers with the ability to monitor the location and status of vehicles from a mobile phone when they are away from the office, with no access to a laptop or PC.

The driver app, suitable for Apple, Android, Microsoft and some touchscreen Blackberry devices will enable employees to view driver behaviour feedback, including individual analysis of their performance, to encourage improvements in driving techniques.

In addition, they will also be able to allocate business/private mileage and add trip notes to the central tracking system, as well as use the route planning functionality with distance, travel time, directions and live traffic data.

John Wisdom, managing director of Ctrack said: “Our simple-to-use mobile app uses the latest technology and innovation to ensure that assets are always visible and supported.

“This latest version has been designed to benefit both fleet managers and drivers with the aim of improving safety and fuel efficiency, while enhancing the experience of employees when on the road.”
