ACFO has joined forces with Fleet Live 2019 as a platinum partner and will promote the event to its membership to engage on the biggest topics affecting the industry.

Fleet Live is the UK’s leading event for the fleet management community and gives fleet decision-makers the chance to face future challenges and opportunities together with two days of learning, sharing and networking.

The event runs across two days at the NEC in Birmingham on October 8-9.

Caroline Sandall, ACFO’s new chairman and board members Debbie Floyde, Ryan Coles and Stewart Lightbody all sit on the Visitor Advisory Board for Fleet Live 2019 to make sure content at the show is reflective of the biggest challenges facing fleet and mobility managers.

ACFO exists to help fleet decision-makers improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their business travel operation.

Debbie Floyde, ACFO board member and Bauer group fleet and risk and facilities manager, said: “It’s really important the industry gets together to share best practice and talk about some of the challenges facing us all, including big topics around taxation, electric vehicles, technology and the changing mobility landscape.

“We will be encouraging our membership and the suppliers we work with to take part in the show and ACFO will be out in force to help all fleet decision makers in attendance.”

Established more than 40 years ago, ACFO’s membership includes most of Britain’s major fleets as well as those drawn from the SME sector.

Additionally, affiliated organisations include motor manufacturers and a wide range of companies drawn from the supplier network including contract hire and leasing companies, fleet management organisations, fast-fit providers and specialists in the accident management, roadside breakdown and recovery, automotive glazing, daily rental and re-marketing sectors.

The Fleet News Commercial Fleet Awards will take place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on the evening of the first day of Fleet Live, Tuesday 8th October.
