The Association of Fleet Operators (AFP) is holding an ‘open forum’ webinar to give fleets the opportunity to discuss any problems they are facing.

It will be moderated by AFP board member Debbie Floyde and member Graham Short, fleet manager at Culligan UK, and takes place online from 9.30-11.30am on Thursday, September 8.

“This is very much designed to be an event where those involved in managing fleets can talk openly about the problems that are currently causing them pain and ask other attendees about potential solutions and experiences,” said Floyde.

“Often, the smallest nugget of wisdom can be world-changing for those who receive it and what we are aiming to achieve is to find a means of dialogue that will allow people to more easily highlight this kind of information.”

The AFP will be looking at a range of current issues including lead times, vehicle availability, reimbursement fuel rates and costs around charging EVs. However, Floyde said: “It is not hard and fast, and we are very open to the discussion taking new directions.

She added: “We’re hopeful that this will grow to provide a new way of fleet managers sharing ideas and that the open forum can be held several times a year.”

The webinar is open to AFP fleet operator members and details can be found at here.
