Enterprise Car Club has teamed up with micro mobility provider, Beryl, to deliver more convenient, connected travel by integrating different types of shared transport.

Enterprise Car Club members can already enjoy a free 200-minute Beryl bundle when they sign up to Beryl.  The new scheme creates a reciprocal arrangement encouraging Beryl users to explore the benefits of Enterprise Car Club.

By offering discounted Enterprise Car Club membership rates and free driving credit to Beryl users, the scheme aims to encourage people to move from private to shared ownership and contribute towards reducing congestion and carbon emissions.

The partnership will promote Beryl’s suitability for first and last mile journeys, making it quick and simple to link with an Enterprise Car Club car, which can then be used for longer journeys or those that simply need four, rather than two, wheels.

Dan Gursel, managing director of Enterprise Car Club, said: “By teaming up with Beryl we are helping to connect the travel chain, making it easier for people to travel without needing to own a car.

“Shared and active travel benefits individuals and communities by increasing physical activity, reducing congestion and driving down emissions.

“It’s fantastic that we can partner with innovators like Beryl to bring multi-modal travel and the benefits of shared ownership to more people.”

Beryl partnerships lead, Ben Lee, added: “Ultimately, we want to inspire more people to take up sustainable travel options and help make our towns and cities cleaner and greener spaces in which to live, work and visit.

“By partnering with Enterprise Car Club, we have a great opportunity to show people how flexible and convenient shared schemes can be in helping them get from A to B.

"I’d urge people to take advantage of this great offer and enjoy the benefits that shared vehicle schemes can bring.”

The offer, which expires on January 31, 2024, is open to Beryl users in Norwich, Cornwall, Southampton, Portsmouth and the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas.
