Enterprise has expanded with a second Glasgow city centre branch in Tradeston. The vehicle rental group will offer further 24/7 rental options to its car club members.

Six new jobs will come from the expansion, including four graduate roles on its Management Training Programme.

Whether a vehicle is for business or leisure use, and whether it’s for an hour, day, week or long-term, Enterprise will provide a variety of options for its customers from its Tradeston branch.

Diane Mulholland, general manager for Enterprise in Scotland and Northern Ireland, said: “Enterprise now has seven rental branches in the Glasgow area, providing our customers, both individuals and businesses, with the right vehicle exactly when and where they need it.

“Adding Enterprise Car Club vehicles to the new Tradeston branch extends that service and enables people to access cars or vans at any time of the day or night.

“We’re working hard to ensure people in Scotland and across the UK can get where they need to go with a minimum of fuss.

“Car clubs and daily rental are an important part of the growing range of MaaS services.”

Two vans and two low-emission hybrid cars will be available at the new branch in an attempt to provide low-emission driving options.

Its new branch is within walking distance of its existing city centre branch on Oswald Street, with the new branch situated next to the subway station.

Other services include its Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) transport options to the local community, as customers will be able to easily combine road journeys with the subway and other forms of public transport.

With this expansion Enterprise now offers its Car Club members 1,100 on-street vehicles across more than 170 cities.
