Skoda will present Vision X, a new small-SUV concept at the Geneva motor show.

The new model will inspire a third Skoda SUV, sitting beneath the Karoq and Kodiaq, likely to rival the Nissan Juke.

Skoda says the Vision X is the ideal companion for an active, urban lifestyle – suggesting it is targeting a younger market.

Its compact proportions are enhanced with sporty styling cues and large 20-inch alloy wheels, although we expect the production version will be more conservative.

The Czech expects the fast-growing SUV segment to be a cornerstone of its Strategy 2025. By 2025, Skoda will have brought out plug-in hybrid vehicles in addition to all-electric cars. Then, every fourth vehicle the brand delivers worldwide will have a plug-in hybrid or purely electric powertrain.
