Paragon Group has appointed Mark Hindley (pictured) as sales and marketing director. 

Hindley takes on the wider remit following two years at Paragon Vehicles Services as business development director.

Ian Carlisle, chief executive officer of Paragon said: “Mark has done an outstanding job of growing the Paragon Vehicle Services business since its acquisition in 2013. With the unique challenges being faced across the automotive supply chain, it is important that we are structured to respond in a holistic manner which can unlock further value for our customers. Mark has a great track record of working strategically with manufacturers and wider customers to develop long-term strategic partnerships.” 

Hindley brings 25 years of industry experience to the role, which will see him work with customers to unlock the benefits of working with a broader range of services within the Paragon Group.  

Commenting on his new role, Hindley said: “Paragon has ambitious plans to change the way it works. We will unlock value as a strategic supply chain partner to the motor industry, by working differently to our competitors, we aim to create real synergies across our new, in-life, used vehicle and remarketing services.” 

The move follows the company’s recent announcement of £4.7m in structured investments over the next 12 months to build further capacity and drive innovation into the supply chain.
