Mark Sinclair has joined TMC in the newly-created role of chief financial officer to lead the finance and data teams.

He will also be involved in building TMC’s portfolio of services, as well as heading up a research project, in conjunction with Universities in the North West, into journey patterns, fuel usage and driver behaviour.

Based on TMC’s real world data, this research will help steer TMC’s product development, building upon and adding to TMC’s current services to deliver invaluable support to businesses.

Sinclair, a chartered accountant with extensive experience within the fleet leasing sector, joined TMC from Tusker, where he held the role of chief operating officer.  His former positions include being responsible for Alphabet GB as director, where he worked alongside TMC’s managing director Paul Hollick.

Sinclair said: “TMC is a fast growing, agile and adaptive business with fantastic growth potential. There are so many possibilities for TMC and our clients and we are in an incredibly unique position because of our ability to harness data from multiple sources, analyse it and turn it into actionable insight driving significant savings and efficiency for our customers. It is certainly an exciting place to be, with a fantastic bunch of people.”

Hollick said “It is great news for TMC to have Mark on board.  His broad experience and track record of growing businesses is invaluable as demand for TMC’s services continues to grow and we expand.  And on a personal level, it’s great to be working with Mark again”.
