The Empowering Women in Fleet network will meet for its second regional meeting in September.
Taking place on Friday, September 12, the group of female fleet, procurement and HR professionals will meet at the Volvo Training and Development Centre, Prospect Way, Daventry, Northamptonshire.
The network’s first meeting was held in June in Milton Keynes – catch the highlights and hear directly from female fleet and procurement professionals on why this initiative matters and why you should get involved.
Whether you're looking to grow professionally, share your knowledge, or influence positive industry change, this is your opportunity to make a real difference. The network is open to all fleet end users at all levels.
Lindi Tembha, procurement lead at Weetabix, says what excites her most about the network is the chance to ‘connect with talented women across the sector, to share experiences, understand the challenges faced, and support each other in overcoming barriers to success.’
She added: “Join this network for the opportunity to connect with other like-minded fleet professionals, to share knowledge, support each other and help each other break barriers down.”
Brought to you in partnership with Volvo Car UK, Novuna Vehicle Solutions and Sortimo van racking specialists, network members will include fleet managers, procurement specialists, HR professionals and finance heads.
The network will have its national launch at this year’s Fleet & Mobility Live in October.
The meeting in Milton Keynes saw an inspiration talk from trailblazing Dr Jo Salter MBE, the first female fast jet pilot, and a conversational chat with distinguished global fleet leader Ann-Marie Dunbar, director - global fleet program at Gilead Sciences.
An advisory board of leading female fleet professionals will guide the development and direction of Empowering Women in Fleet.
