Titan Airways has agreed a deal for Tusker to offer eligible employees the opportunity to join an electric vehicle (EV) company car scheme through a salary sacrifice arrangement.

All Tusker cars come complete with insurance, replacement tyres, road tax (if applicable), routine servicing and maintenance, as well as RAC breakdown cover, for a fixed monthly amount, taken via a salary sacrifice.

Liz Austin, HR director at Titan Airways, said: “We’ve been working really hard over the past year, in consultation with all our team members, to ensure we are improving our suite of benefits and policies which have a positive impact for our people.

“We’re really excited about the introduction of the new EV scheme with Tusker, both for the positive environmental impacts it will bring as we continue to move toward a more sustainable future, and for our people, who will be able to get a fantastic vehicle at great value.”

Tusker says that its charging infrastructure support and ongoing maintenance will enable Titan Airways to integrate EVs into its operations.

Kit Wisdom, managing director at Tusker, said: “Titan recognise the importance of providing their employees with excellent benefits, which not only reduce the impact on the environment, but also save the employee some money.

“We’re looking forward to providing a sustainable travel solution for Titan employees.”
