Zenith has received a bronze rating from EcoVadis, with their overall score being placed in the top 20% of all companies assessed.

The vehicle leasing company’s score highlights its environmental, social, and governance practices and management systems.

Zenith scored highly across both the ethics and the labour and human rights themes of the assessment and received an advanced score in both areas.

EcoVadis is a global sustainability ratings company, providing a platform that helps organisations assess and improve their sustainability performance.

Each year, it assesses more than 130,000 companies across 175 countries. The platform ranks businesses on four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Mark Wilson (pictured), sustainability manager at Zenith, said: “At Zenith, we’re committed to embedding sustainability across all areas of the business, and it’s pleasing to see that our efforts have been recognised by EcoVadis.

“Our rating will allow us to improve our own ESG standards in both the short and long term.

“We’ll also use our assessment to work closer with our suppliers, collaborating to ensure the same standards are upheld throughout the value chain.”

The EcoVadis award is the latest in a line of sustainability-related accreditations, including a bronze certification from the Carbon Literacy Project, which was given to Zenith in 2023.

The company has also recently had its carbon reduction targets approved by the science-based targets initiative (SBTi), validating that they are aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
