Review

I HAVE to admit I have been lucky with the cars I've tested driven for Fleet News.

Having spent several weeks in the Vauxhall Astra Coupe Turbo (I still miss it!) I had thought I'd get something a lot more mundane. But fortunately for me, I was given the keys to the Seat Toledo 2.3 V5.

I haven't got any complaints about the Seat and have even been seen polishing it on a Sunday morning.

But that's when I encountered my first problem. It's all very well having those great looking multi-spoke alloys, but when it comes to cleaning them, they're a devil.

Fortunately for me, a colleague came to the rescue with a new product from US car care giant Meguiar's (recently launched in this country).

Its 'Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner' was superb and sorted the wheels out in no time, removing all traces of brake dust and road grime with little effort on my part. So it's back on the road with gleaming wheels and paintwork to match.
