More than 300,000 job sheets were processed through 1link Service Network during March – setting a new record for a single month.

In total, 305,909 individual vehicle service, maintenance and repair jobs were completed using the e-commerce platform, bringing the year-to-date total to around 900,000.

Kyle Truman, head of marketing at Epyx, the company behind 1link, said: “Since the platform was enhanced a year or so ago to enable greater use for commercial vehicles and plant, we have seen transactions steadily increase.

“Also, we continue to see further penetration into our core car fleet market in the shape of both more use by existing customers and continuing adoption by new ones.”

Last month, Epyx reported that there were now over three million cars, vans and trucks registered on 1link Service Network.

Introduced in 2003, the platform is used by fleets to manage and process servicing, maintenance and repairs bought from 18,000 franchise dealers, independent garages and fast fits.
