Tusker has appointed senior marketer Paul Gilshan to the newly created role of chief marketing officer.

Gilshan will lead all marketing initiatives for market leader Tusker and will report directly to CEO, David Hosking.

He joins with a CV of high profile consumer marketing roles for media companies including Sky, The Times, ITV and more recently Satellite TV platform Freesat, where he was Marketing and Communications Director.

Tusker claims its customer service primarily focuses on the driver rather than the employer, and says Gilshan’s experience in B2C marketing in the media industry will strengthen Tusker’s consumer-led strategy.

Gilshan said, “It’s an exciting time to join Tusker, the company has experienced several years of strong growth yet retains a fresh, ambitious outlook.  I'm looking forward to working with the talented team at Tusker to drive the business forward with a clear focus on our customers’ needs.”

David Hosking, Tusker CEO, said: “We created the new role of chief marketing officer to strengthen our strategic marketing capabilities and continue to deliver best in class communications for our customers.  We are delighted that we have attracted someone of Paul’s calibre, as he shares our ambitions for the company and our vision of extending our marketing influence into new media outlets.”
