Alphabet has been recognised for the third year running as one of the UK’s leading employers by the Top Employers Institute.

The annual international research recognises leading companies around the world that provide excellent employee conditions, develop talent at every level of the organisation, as well as continuously strive to improve employment practices.

The Top Employers Institute assessed Alphabet’s approach in key areas including talent strategy, learning and development, performance management, leadership, career management, compensation and benefits, and culture.

Crucial to achieving Top Employers certification is the completion of a stringent research process, which is independently audited, to meet the required standard and earn a coveted spot among a select group of certified companies.

Eleanor Nickerson, director of UK Operations for the Top Employers Institute, said: “The Top Employers Institute examines the HR practices and offerings that each participating company puts in place for its people to create and maintain optimal employee conditions. Our in-depth examination concluded that Alphabet provides an outstanding employee experience, with high quality initiatives that engage, reward and motivate employees, ensuring that people can develop themselves personally and professionally, and build a rewarding career.”

Adam Lupton, HR director at Alphabet, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Top Employers for the third year running. We take our certification from the Top Employers Institute extremely seriously as it not only helps us to benchmark our development as an organisation but also enables us to speak credibly and with confidence with HR professionals who have responsibility for ‘mobility’ under their remit."
