More than 60 Tusker employees are taking on Tough Mudder, a gruelling 12-mile obstacle course, later this month to raise money for three charities.

Featuring 20 new and more challenging obstacles across the fields of Henley-on-Thames, the course is dotted with pits of mud and icy-cold water, as well as high walls and the potential for multiple electric shocks.

The Tusker team hopes to raise more than £6,000 which will be split equally between the Teenage Cancer Trust, the MS Trust and Cancer Research UK.

Leading the challenge are some of the directors, including David Hosking, CEO, who was among 26 employees who did Tough Mudder in 2013.

He said: “Having done this before is almost worse as I know what I’m letting myself in for.

"No amount of training can prepare yourself for this, though I have been keeping up with the running. It really is a tough challenge, both physically and mentally, and will be a testament to the teamwork we show here at Tusker.”

The team will be completing its challenge tomorrow. To sponsor the team, visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/tusker.
