Other assets of this new model include a cavernous boot, versatile tailgate and a quiet ride. Drawbacks include a driving experience that feels slightly cumbersome and heavy, along with a delay on the auto-box kickdown.

The Santa Fe is a fine SUV, and the recent i30 is appealing, too. Now that extra confidence has been transmitted to the Amica replacement, the i10, which is a cute little thing with plenty going for it.
