ASSISTANT TRANSPORT/LOGISTICS MANAGER - BASED WATTON AREA - PERMANENT - FULL TIME - HOURS 14.00 TO 22.00 - £18,000 TO £22,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
Our client are a reliable and established company who are now looking for a Assistant Transport/Logistics Manager to join their fast paced environment.
The role is to strengthen the Transport/Distribution Management team through a period of rapid expansion and with the introduction of a new Accounting System.
Involves working in a fast moving environment where attention to detail and service levels are paramount.
Key Job Functions:
To assist and support the Transport team
Dealing with customers and suppliers queries
Managing drivers hours and working time directive and tacho management.
Computer processing of delivery notes and sales invoicing.
Skills & Abilities
Highly organised and hard working
Ability to multi-task & work under pressure.
Solid computer skills.
Customer focused and solutions driven
Effective communicator
Pro company ethic
Qualifications:
HGV Class 2 (Preferable)
DCPC Qualified (Preferable)
