In 2020 Haynes Group was acquired by Infopro Digital as part of a larger strategic plan to become a global leader within the automotive data market.

HaynesPro UK are looking for an ambitious, experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team. It is an exciting time to join the organisation as you will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities through the sale of our two core products, VRM (vehicle registration mark) lookup and OE service maintenance and repair data, as well as our supporting products and services.

The position will suit an established professional with a proven record of securing new customers and revenues. The right candidate will be someone who understands the importance of collaboration, ownership, integrity and excellent customer service.

What the role involves

  • Responsible for delivering a pure growth model of new business by actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new opportunities within the UK market
  • Identifying key stakeholders within potential new customers and building long lasting relationships
  • Complimenting the activities of Sales Director and MD
  • Supporting the wider activities of Haynes Group business in the UK, as directed by the Sales Director

What we are looking for

  • Data savvy individual with a strong understanding of data sales and/or the UK automotive market
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience and a proven track record of success in delivering high value new business
  • Excellent prospecting, networking, negotiation and closing skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations)
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Outstanding customer relationship skills
  • Highly numerate individual with the ability to work with data as your core sales product
  • First class planning, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels (with a focus on senior management decision makers) in a wide range of organisations
