The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced fleet or leasing manager with strong leadership skills to join our Vehicle Solutions business in Trowbridge. This role will see you managing a team of direct and indirect reports for one of our most prestigious clients.
The team you will be managing get involved in the build and delivery of new vehicles, as well as the accurate administration and reporting back to the client about the existing fleet.
In your role you will be:
-Managing 3 direct reports, and a further 6 indirect reports
-Ensuring that all fleet administration is effective and compliant with customer and contract needs
-Making sure customer data is accurate and regularly audited
-Raising any trends, anomalies or irregular activities with the customer, offering solutions to address specific issues
-Managing and overseeing the team for the customer specific building, ordering and delivery of vehicles in the Fleet
-Overseeing the production of customer reporting on specific fleet data to include p11d, p46, MID admin etc.
-Ensuring fines and congestion charging processes are managed and adhered to and customer requirements are met
-Overseeing the arrangement, management and reporting on fuel cards, ensuring the team work effectively with our 3rd party provider
-Managing and facilitating customer and supplier meetings
-To undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC's business requirements
About You You will have proven experience of managing others, as well as an understanding of what goes into looking after large fleets. You'll ideally have had exposure to both commercial and car fleet vehicles, and an appreciation of the work that goes into build and delivery of new vehicles.
One key trait we are looking for is a very keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot discrepancies in reporting. This is because one of the key deliverables on this particular contract is accurate reporting to ensure employees are taxed accurately and fairly on their company vehicle usage.
In addition to the above, it is highly desirable for you to be able to demonstrate the following:
-Strong, proven, people management skills, and experience of leading both direct and indirect reports
-Strong administration skills
-Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
-Ability to innovate, and strive for continuous improvement
-Commercially-sensitive and aware
-Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
-Ability to grasp and understand the commercial aspects of a customer's business
