Rory J Holbrook have an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Fleet Manager to join their Transport Team. Offering a friendly, good working environment, a competitive salary, and a secure position within an established company
A family run plant and aggregate supply business, founded in 1988 by Mr Rory Holbrook. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, and sites located at East Harling, Brandon and Lakenheath, the company has grown substantially with a fleet of over 80 vehicles covering the whole of the United Kingdom, a modern fleet, on average under 5 years old.
The Role- Fleet Manager
Mon – Fri 6am Start preferred with a basic 50-hour week
One in 4 Saturday morning attendance required pro rata
You will work closely alongside our Transport Team to collectively deliver effective transport solutions.
Responsibilities for Fleet Manager:
Coordinating the team of technicians, as their direct line manager
Ordering all relevant parts applicable to the fleet maintenance
Communicating with the Accounts department
Issue order numbers and sign off purchase invoices
Asist the transport office with holiday cover
Conduct Inspections and be responsible for defects and a full maintenance programme.
Scheduling and compliance in line with Haulage laws and FORS Gold
Person specification:
Mechanical experience is essential
From a transport background
A sound knowledge of compliance laws
Driver Management experience
Able to confidently Improve operational efficiency
