Grafton are recruiting exclusively for a growing E-commerce business to source an experienced Logistics Manager to be responsible for the planning, organising, directing, managing as well as inbound and outbound operations in the UK. The Logistics Manager will work with internal and external teams to ensure accurate shipping and working towards SLA's.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Manager

Inboud, pick&pack and outbound operations.
Have full control of the operating budget.
Own the businesses outsourced 3rd party warehousing & distribution functions provided through various service providers.
Manage and coordinate 3PL and 4PL warehouse and delivery services and continuosly improve the quality and cost structure of the service providers
Maintain a high level of communication across all team members and senior parties
Ensure shadow stock accuracy with 3PL and achieve stock accuracy according to yearly budget KPIs
Achieve inbound, outbound and distribution target service levels
To develop and provide regular reports on Logistics team performance as agreed with the Head of Operations.
Report required logistics KPIs on daily, weekly and monthly basis
Track daily warehouse and distribution operations and solve daily operational issues with 3PLs
Having close communication with Customer Services Team to improve Customer Satisfaction scores
Ensure timely stock booking during inbound operations to maintain consistent stock accuracy
Build the logistics team to support the future business growth
Be responsible for the inventory management, ensure FEFO management and track expiry dates of the products
Close monitoring the scrap goods and dispose the goods according to regulations
Optimizing distributions by delivery models
Improve service levels to meet and exceed the UK market standards
Make sure all logistics data saved on-time on SAP
Improving company's Van Delivery operations
Ensure on time and correct Customer returns operations
Utilise new product or solutions to improve packaging conditions and packing cost efficiency


B2B and E-com warehouse operations experience
Experience in leading people within a logistics working environment
Strong data analysis skills
Experince in parcel delivery services and pallet deliveries
3PL contract and operation management
Ability to work well in very dynamic environment
SAP knowledge in MM, SD and WM-EWM modules
Minimum 5 years team management experience
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
High analytical skills
Good reporting skills
