Logistics Manager

Full time permanent position.

Atnahs is a fast-growing pharma company who acquires mature established branded pharmaceutical products from large cap pharma companies, develop own niche generic medicines in house and market those globally.

This is a key role within our supply chain team responsible for the management of the monthly and annual shipment forecasting & transport planning. Reporting to our Head of Supply Chain you will ensure that our logistics operations are of the highest quality. You will manage our logistics workstreams & projects to ensure the logistics division of the business operates in line with the rest of the supply chain.

Main Purpose of Job:

Ensure full compliance with the EMA and MHRA for transportation, warehousing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Work closely with the CMO team & freight forwarders to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.
Provide functional and business process expertise in logistic with focus on transport management and logistics collaboration on all phases in the supply chain.
Optimise our shipment data archiving, forecasting, booking process to ensure we can achieve the cost savings & operational efficiencies within target timelines.
Manage delivery times, transport costs of all routes and regular reviewing of route costings and introduce plan stability and agree achievable delivery dates with customers.
Develop an effective communication system between logistics and rest of the supply chain team, finance team & the external LSPs.
Set-up, monitor & report the KPIs of the LSPs & freight forwarders.
Write and review freight movement related SOPs and training.
Carry out transport route validation, risk assessments and root cause analysis.
Manage and motivate the team, set clear objectives and deliver training.
Plan and manage freight and warehousing related projects.
Manage day to day in-bound & out-bound shipments.What we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate is a strong team-player, a hands-on leader and understands end to end supply chain and how freight movement & warehousing in global locations impact overall supply chain operations. You will have a working knowledge of a global supply chain ideally in pharmaceuticals or a similar regulated environment. The combination of technical/digital and business skills is considered an advantage. You will also need to have:

A university degree.
Excellent Computing skills: Power point presentation, Microsoft Excel at Advanced Level Charting, Pivot Reporting, VLOOKUP, Microsoft Word; Outlook.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
Ability to work in a commercial driven, results orientated environment.
Sound knowledge of logistics planning, reporting and budgeting.
Excellent analytical and data management skills.
Flexible - ability to adapt schedules according to change.
Solutions driven with strong problem-solving skills.
