We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Materials Planning Manager to oversee the scheduling and logistics functions for a blue-chip backed business that is pioneering the design and high-volume manufacture of new technology for the energy sector. This is an excellent new opportunity to help steer a business as it grows from pre-production to world-class manufacturer.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, this is a cross-functional role overseeing the planning department while building a high-performing logistics team, and supporting production while they ramp up from a few units a week to one every eight minutes.
This role will be a good fit for a hands-on manager with experience of co-ordinating lean planning systems and logistics activities. Strong SAP skills and a background in automotive, aerospace or an aligned sector would be an advantage.
