Looking for dynamic, motivated leader with NEBOSH or IOSH and has experience in a similar role and can add real value and expertise operationally to this fantastic dispatch hub.

The Role - Improve, coach, implement, encourange, change, develop!
* Assist in the operational management and imporvement of all aspects of the warehouse including but not limited to Goods in, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Returns & Despatch, PI Counts.
* Responsible for the Management of the Health & Safety of the warehouse, developing a culture of safety and security awareness within the operation.
* Lead, Manage, coach, and Develop existing Warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring all operational KPI's and company requirements are met, tracked and challenged.
* Be instrumental in the day-to-day running and cleanliness of the warehouse, managing order volumes, daily workload, and continuous process improvement of the operation.
* Be responsible to create and document SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.
* Challenge existing processes, providing input on continual improvements which increase capacity and improve efficiency.
* Complete investigations including CAPAs (Corrective Action Preventative Action) on any process deviations that are identified within strict timescales.
* Process driven, with the ability to manage staff productivity and performance.
* Lead, Manage, coach, and Develop existing Warehouse team.
* Maintain all warehouse operational standards and processes and ensures all team members follow procedures to improve efficiency.
* Managing and initiate specific improvement projects.
* Promote and support Covid-19 required measures in line with government guidelines.
* Manage staff appraisals and disciplinary.
* Manage the FLT fleet.

* Knowledge and experience in warehousing Health and Safety.

* Knowledge of VNA and HLOP trucks
Personal Attributes and Experience
* Demonstrable previous experience in warehouse management at a manager or supervisory level is essential
* Experience of managing Health and Safety activities
* Experience in warehouse management or ERP systems and excel spreadsheets
* Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
* Strong and confident communicator with people on all levels of a business
Qualifications
* NEBOSH qualified or IOSH
