We are working with a market leading manufacturing organisation based in North Wales who are looking to recruit Supply Chain Manager & Logistics Manager to support the growth of the business.
As Supply Chain Manager & Logistics Manager your purpose is the following:
Lead the supply chain team to meet business goals on inventory and service (OTIF) and implement the supply chain strategy.
Ensure the continuity of supply of the plant and resolve any specific issues with all related services.
Implement logistics processes to improve the flow of product and ensure customer availability.
Support the business with on-going challenges to minimise issues with product supply due to Brexit.
To provide effective contribution to the senior leadership team in line with our company values and goals, including, setting business objectives, creating the right cultural environment and delivering positive site KPIs.
Foster a positive working environment that instils motivation and high standards of work, provides development opportunities, and supports the industrial relations.
Coach, mentor and develop the supply chain team to ensure personal development.
Degree or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years' experience leading a supply chain / logistics function.
Experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Must possess excellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to work collaboratively internally and externally and have strong negotiation skills.
Proven track record of leading change in a positive manner to implement "best in class" supply chain processes, with the ability to lead multiple projects.
Ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop teams.
Good analytical skills and strategic thinker.
