Adecco Chester are currently recruiting on behalf on North Wales Police for a Testing and Logistics Manager to join their HQ in Colwyn Bay.

The post holder will support North Wales Police to deliver it's Emergency Service Network (ESN) Programme through co-ordination of allocated change work streams, ensuring that deadlines are met and products are delivered to the required quality within time scales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Benchmark with other organisations to inform decision making.
Liaise and coordinate with operational staff, ICT, and PMO.
Liaise, work in partnership with, and coordinate with other emergency service organisations and partners as and when necessary - specifically within the Welsh Region ESN Collaboration and the North West Region (specifically Cheshire and the Alliance).
To support the Project manager, Programme Manager, ICT, and ESN Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) as and when necessary.
To plan, coordinate and manage delivery of ESN devices and accessories to end users.
To recover all redundant Airwave equipment and manage its disposal.
To support the design and implementation of the ESN BAU Service Management process.MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:

The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:
Educated to HNC level in a Business related subject or an equivalent professional qualification, or possess the equivalent amount of relevant experience.
The ability to communicate at operational, tactical, executive, and NPCC level internally and across other organisations.
Possess excellent verbal and numerical reasoning skills to prepare statistical and budget reports for management use.
Proven experience in a role involving testing, logistics, or preferably both.
An ability to transfer strategic perspectives into practicable and operational processes.
An ability to understand complex issues, reducing them to their essential elements and being able to identify, assess implications, evaluate and manage risks and opportunities.
A good working knowledge of IT software preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project and Internet/Intranet access.
Awareness of Data Protection, Management of Police Information and Systems Administration processes.

This position is temporary for 12 months.
