Transport Manager

Our client is a well established company and is recruiting for an experience Transport Manager to join there offices in Erith.
The main duties of this role:-
-You will be running the day to day operation of a busy transport office providing service to an in house and external client base.
-Computer literate and competent user of all MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
-Compiling and maintaining documentation whilst processing vital information .
-Driver management skills ensuring smooth and efficient running of the fleet vehicles.
-Articulate ,professional and well organised with the ability to use your initiative and stay on top of several tasks at once will prove invaluable.
-Good communication skills and having the ability to effectively deal with enquiries in a fast and efficient manner.
-Knowledge and experience of the HGV Construction interface and Waste Management Industries.
-Work well within the transport team function to ensure deadlines are met.
-Competent in transport operations legislation .
-CPC Transport Manager qualification.
-Knowledge and experience of the Freight Operators Recognition Scheme.
-Hard working, flexible mature approach and adapt to evolving business needs.
