Transport Manager

Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for a fresh challenge and want to be part of a forward thinking ever growing business?

The company is a leader in supply chain solutions and are now looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join their exciting brand on a permanent basis. Located in the heart of Birmingham; paying an attractive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 the Transport Manager will be responsible for the transport operations for their customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your duties will include:

" Full responsibility of fleet management
" Effectively execute the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site
" Reviewing and minimising costs in line with the companies guidelines
" Responsible for all compliance making sure health and safety guidelines are adhered to
" CPC ( Worldwide would have a distinct advantage )
" Development and management of staff including Transport Administrators and Operatives

Hours are flexible and the successful Transport Manager would be able to work 10:00am - 18:00pm or 12:00pm - 20:00pm shift Monday to Friday.

The Transport Manager will have exposure in working in a fast paced environment and have previously managed a team and complex transport. Continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and fleet performance will be paramount to the success of this role.
