Transport Manager Required

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a Transport Manager  for our client based in Portsmouth.

The job will involve but not be limited to:

Ensuring all operations are in line with the UK and European Union laws and regulations.

Ensure all accidents/incidents are logged and reported in line with company procedures

Ensuring any defects, MOT's and services are legally compliant

Organising shift rotas for planners and supervisors

Minimise disruption and solve any unscheduled delays

Negotiate and manage new business opportunities

Maintaining morale and staff retention

We are looking for candidates with previous transport planning/manager experience, someone that can communicate well and has a high standard of customer service.

Start times may vary, covering Monday to Friday. You may be required to take calls out of hours.
