EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT MANAGER OR AMBITIOUS SUPERVISOR REQUIRED TO MANAGE A CHALLENGING WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPERATION
JOB TITLE: Transport Manager – Waste & Recycling Service Delivery Operations
SALARY: up to £34K DOE with Car / £6K allowance, up to 17.5% Bonus & 7% Contribution Pension
LOCATION: Falkirk
ROLE: Transport Manager – Waste & Recycling Service Delivery Operations
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of drivers and the routing for a fleet of waste vehicles and ensure the vehicles and drivers work within all transport legislation
Give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers, i.e. briefing/debriefing during course of working day.
You will drive service delivery vs KPI’s / SLA’s and look to make improvements to existing processes
Ensure that all health and safety policies are complied with.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Transport Manager – Waste & Recycling Service Delivery Operations
Experience planning for and managing drivers essential, excellent man-management experience is a must
You will be logistics ‘tech savvy’ and have experience working with digitises processes / transactions etc.
You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
National CPC
Waste Management & Recycling experience would a substantial advantage
IOSH/NEBOSH also an advantage
You will have excellent planning skills and a good understanding of compliance
