Excellent Opportunity for an expert Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join Montagne Jeunesse / 7th Heaven based in Port Talbot, South Wales on a permanent, full time basis

Montagne Jeunesse is a leading entrepreneurial FMCG health and beauty business which sells its brands including 7th Heaven into 93 countries around the world. This is a broad ranging role for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager who has expertise in logistics and brings the full range of skills required in a modern warehouse environment. Experience of ERP systems, quality standards, and having relevant qualifications or training, you will either have contributed to modernising and automating a warehouse operation in the past or have experience of working in one and can demonstrate expertise in these areas.

The role:

The role will have operational responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse, managing the logistical distribution 3rd party manufactured stock throughout the UK and internationally, leading the warehouse team (in the region of 30 people plus seasonal temps) managing stocks, a smooth operation and continual improvement of efficiencies. This will include streamlining warehouse and logistics processes and automation including using ERP and other IT applications. Responsibility for efficient and accurate stock control, warehouse forecast mapping and accurate workforce planning. The role will also ensure all quality control requirements are met to a high standard, including ISO 9001requirements, as well as health and safety compliance.

About you:

You are a high calibre warehouse manager with extensive warehouse experience, ideally in an FMCG environment, and an expert in international logistics, including knowledge of and planning for Brexit arrangements. You have either successfully modernized a warehouse and logistics function already in your career or worked in a modern warehouse environment and understand how to improve efficiencies and manage costs. You will have relevant warehousing and logistics qualifications. Lean Manufacturing is an advantage but not crucial.

You are IT savvy, have experience of ERP systems and other software packages. Experience in automation is another distinct advantage. You are a strong leader, a committed change agent and have a can do hands on operational attitude.
