Our client is an established Manufacturing business who seeks an ambitious & driven individual with excellent management skills who will lead a small team, managing 3PL partners & driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be able to influence change within the business, implementing positive changes in process and procedures to ensure best practice is followed consistently.
Overarching responsibility for the effective management of the 3PLs, inventory levels, controls & processes & distribution of goods through the supply chain
Effectively manage the partnership with 3PL warehouse & transport providers, ensuring operational effectiveness & exceptional service
Identifying key areas of opportunities & challenge and devising innovative solutions
Supporting on tenders, providing information, recommendation & data analysis
Managing & improving a complex distribution model and supplier network; understanding supplier needs and optimising approach
Developing & maintaining key KPIs, leading quarterly review with suppliers & driving improvement
Lead successful continuous improvement projects to ensure effective movement of goods
Experience in 3PL management positions; Logistics Manager, Distribution Manager, Distribution Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator
Experience managing 3PLs within a manufacturing business
Manage the whole Logistics process from Raw Materials coming in to Finished Product leaving
Detailed knowledge of logistics & distribution industry, with an ambition to drive real change
Highly analytical & Strong Excel Skills, with an ability to understand complex problem and convey these in a straightforward manner
Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects and tracking the success.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and influencing skills
A dynamic, innovative & resilient team player with a track record for driving improvement through innovative & collaborative solutions
