MORE than 80 motor manufacturers and fleet industry supply companies have booked to exhibit at the 1997 Fleet Motor Show to be held at Silverstone from April 29 to May 2.

Many exhibitors have booked exhibition areas much larger than last year - including Fleetlease which has almost doubled the size of its stand. Companies exhibiting for the first time at Silverstone include insurance company Eagle Star and daily rental company Hertz UK taking a stand in its own name and not sharing with Hertz Leasing.

So far 18 vehicle manufacturers have booked to attend and once again Volkswagen is taking two stands - one exhibiting its cars in the main exhibition arena and a second for its commercial vehicles in the front hall. Last year the front hall was dedicated to commercial vehicles and once again the hall will be heavily supported by lcv manufacturers including LDV. Meanwhile, 10 companies have so far booked stand space in the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association village.

The Silverstone Show complex will cover almost 30,000 square metres - about 1,000 metres more than last year. To book a stand at the 1997 Fleet Motor Show contact Sue Scotney on 01733 467033.
